Here's some information to help you get the most out of your outfit.
Roller Skates:
The skates require an alpha layer enabled viewer for ideal function. Please wear BOTH the foot shaper base and the alpha mask. The foot shaper is important to position your avatar at the correct height above the skates. I have not included resizing capabilities in the skates because the alpha mask should render this unnecessary in most cases.
If your viewer should be unable to utilise the alpha mask, or you have any problems whatsoever with sizing, please contact me - Tanya Matahari - and I will work out a solution for you.
There are two right foot skates in your package - one is tagged "TakeOrder" and the other "Reg Stand". Each has a different stand pose which kicks in when your avatar stops skating - this is partly to counteract "broken ankle" syndrome which is still a problem in IW at the time of writing.
If you wish to use the "Take Order" animation, please wear the appropriate skate and attach the provided Notepad and Pencil. If you don't feel like working (lol) and just want to skate, choose the "Reg Stand" option.
In each case, the skate animation can be toggled on/off simply by left clicking on the left boot.
FAQ:
Q: My outfit doesn't fit quite right - what can I do?
A: The sculpted prim skirt, apron ties, and sleeve cuffs all contain a resize script to assist you with easy fitting. Please consult the separate note card for instructions.
The scarf and hat are less likely to need adjustment so they are supplied unscripted but modifiable, just in case.
Q: My animations don't seem to be working right.
A: Please ensure that you have any other AOs disabled, as they are likely to interfere with your skate animation. Don't forget about any AOs that you may have enabled within your viewer, rather than attached to the avatar.
Q: I'm wearing the foot shape and the alpha mask, but I still see part of my feet showing through the skating boot.
A: There's a bug that shows up on various viewers, related to the feature "Foot Shadows". Please ensure that Foot Shadows are disabled - for most viewers, this is found on the Advanced>Rendering>Features menu.
